This is a fun adventure, written entirely in emails, letters, and other correspondence, primarily involving two young teens and their fathers.

Avery and Bett have little in common ... except their fathers have fallen in love with each other and wish for their daughters to become friends since they're likely to become (step)sisters. Their fathers arrange for both 12-year-olds to attend the same summer camp, and by the end of summer, relationships do not unfold as anticipated.

This book was a refreshing change of pace from the genres I usually read. I laughed out loud several times at particular lines but also appreciated the important points made throughout.

If you like the movies The Parent Trap or Moonrise Kingdom, you'll enjoy this Young Adult book.
