Kay Hooper is one of my favorite authors. I love her Bishop Crime Unit Stories because they are well written and interesting. They also have revolving characters with different psychic abilities that show up throughout the series. I must say that I didn't enjoy this novel very much. I thought it was very convoluted and hard to follow. I have read all the other books in the series and this one didn't fit it. This book is tied into the previous book Blood Dreams and it is focused around a psychic serial killer who goes on a killing spree in various southern states. I felt that the whole psychic abilities aspect was very high tech, lending the book a dry feel.
