Quinn was raised with Dean in a foster home, they are like brothers. Dean marries but Quinn doesn't approve of his choice of brides but he tries to hide his feeling. Mindy knows Dean's best friend doesn't like her but when Dean is killed he steps in to take over. After a month the grieve lifts a little for Mindy to tell Quinn to go away she can handle the rest. She sells the house and moves away. Quinn thinks good riddens but then starts to worry, he finds her pregnant and sick. He takes her home with him, he finds they have lots in common other than their love for Dean.
