Helpful Score: 1
I didn't like the movie of this book at all--it dragged too much and had far too much hand wringing in it. But the book was surprisingly enjoyable. It's light and fluffy fiction, like the others, but I greatly enjoy the back stories of the other more three-dimensional vampires (compared to Edward). The wolves/vampires alliance versus the army of newborns was also an interesting twist. If you are in the mood for light summer "beach-read" fiction, this is worth a single read. I advise you to stop reading the series at this book, however, and skip the 4th (see my review of Breaking Dawn for more on that!)
