I don't ordinarily like books where a new author takes over the writing of a deceased author and uses her characters. However Sophie Hannah is an exception to the rule. She has taken Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot and sent him on a new case. This is the second book by her and I liked it as much as the first one. It contains all the hallmarks of a Christie novel: a large party of guests in a remote area, the Scotland Yard Inspector (not Japp), a murder, and of course, the final denouement where Poirot tells us the solution of the murder. It was very enjoyable who dunnit.
