Another entertaining cozy mystery, 3rd in a series. There are not many cozies I like these days, and some I used to like that now leave me cold, but so far I'm enjoying these. I enjoy the contrast between Carole and Jude. Carole is so reserved and straight-laced she can't bring herself to ask her friend's last name because too much time has now gone by. Then there's Jude, who keeps the various bits of her life strictly separate. she seems to know perfectly well what Carole is thinking and delights in not answering the unasked questions. I think it's funny how the two go around asking incredibly detailed questions of the suspects and get answers. It's totally unbelievable. They also never seem to ask what I think are obvious questions. These things have irritated me in other books but for some reason, I'm happy to go with it in this series. So...I'm liking them and I'll read more.
