A pregnant cat searches for somewhere to have her kittens. She finally finds an abandoned building. After her litter has fed, she goes out to find food. She returns to discover that the building is on fire. Back and forth she goes into the building to rescue her kittens.
Why I recommend it: It's a true story. The illustrations are very detailed.
