A middle-of-the-road romance featured a forced marriage engineered by an abusive and manipulating father-of-bride who stole Eva's newborn babe and killed her lover. Emotions were heartbreaking when plot focused on Eva's grief, especially during her new friend's pregnancy and birth. However, the romance between Eva and Rob was weak. 3 stars.
