Chance of a Ghost (Haunted Guesthouse, Bk 4)

"Alison Kerbys guesthouse is haunted all year round. Surviving the dead of winter, though? Thats a spooky proposition.

Even with a blizzard bearing down on New Jersey, Alison can count on at least two guestsPaul and Maxie, the stubborn ghosts who share her shore town inn. Then theres her widowed mother, who hasnt just been seeing ghosts, shes been secretly dating one: Alisons father. But when he stands her up three times in a row, somethings wrong. Is he a lost soulor a missing apparition?

Their only lead is an overdramatic spiritstage name Lawrence Laurentzwho doesnt take direction well and wont talk until they find his killer. Alison will reluctantly play the part of PI, but when the clues take a sinister turn, the writing is on the wall: If Alison cant keep a level head, this will be her fathers final actand maybe her own."

This was a pure delight to read and couldn't put it down once I started it! I never, NEVER thought I'd enjoy a book with active ghosts in it but in this one they're really just part of the family! A most entertaining, enjoyable read, can't wait to get the next one! Anyone enjoying cozies will adore this series!
