An excellent, thought provoking book about a 13-year old Bosnian boy running for his life in his war-torn country. What I liked about it is what makes it so sad but also so thrilling: It is not glamorized or sentimental. Arthur Dorros tells it like it is. I knew little about the events that went on in that part of the world at the time, and this book helped to explain things to me and helped me understand.
