Not my interest but this book seems very well. As usual with such books it begins with drawing proportional figures and later chapters offer more coaching on the fine points. There are sidebars throughout of 'manga meanings' and 'sketchbook savvy.' The drawing to illustrate, in this case speed, are clear--with speed lines and without speed lines. The bibliography is divided into 'manga' and 'general art.'

(One wish but I have been left holding the bag with unclaimed books three times in the last week so I do not choose to carry away this heavy volume. Sorry.)
