When the Pretty Committee leaves seventh grade, Massie is looking forward to an ahhhmazing summer at her exclusive riding camp. But when one girl can't stay on her horse, Massie gets desparate and does something that gets her and someone else in a bit of a, well, sticky situation(literally!). When getting kicked out of camp brings her home to very disgruntled parents, Massie finds her precious Visa canceled, as well as her AmEx, and she has to wear an old dress (Ehmagawd!) to her mother's party. When her parents insist she get a summer job to pay them back for camp, and her mother's friend gives her a location, Massie has a week to find a much more glamourous job, or she's stuck at a surf rental for the summer. When she hears about Be Pretty Cosmetics and the famed purple streak, well... The motto "Truth is Beauty" starts to take over Massie's summer. For Clique fans and new fans alike, this story is sure to delight. To quote Alicia, I Heart It. Hope you do to.
