This book was the first I've read by this author. As a dog lover, I thought it would be enjoyable. It started out really well, then I noticed comments about religion, for some reason just made me uncomfortable. I have my own faith, but I sure do not want to have it preached to me. This story might not even effect others. If you don't mind christian stories, It is a good story.
