A huge storm takes out the power in Grand Springs, Colorado. It leaves Jessica Hanson in a dark office where she trips and hits her head. This injury causes Jessica to start having visions. These visions include the murder of the local mayor. Detective Stone Richardson is happy to see Jessica again, but doesn't know what to think about her claims of witnessing a murder since the Mayor died from a heart attack. But when Jessica begins having more visions that seem to be true, an investigation into the mayor's death begins.

This book is part of a multi-author series called "36 Hours". Jessica and Stone had a relationship until she left him two years ago when he said he would never marry again. Now upon meeting her again, he has changed his mind and wants her back. Jessica really didn't put up much of a fight. In fact, she had loved him the whole time and was happy to get back together.

Many things bothered me about this book. The heroine would curse under her breath in a very creative way: Rats feet. Fish guts. Bat Breath. I thought that was just weird. Jessica and Stone's relationship was just plain boring. I had a hard time sticking with the story and just started skimming after 80 pages. Jessica's visions drew me into the story, but I hated the resolution of that storyline. There was no resolution. At the end of the book, they were still investigating the Mayor's murder and had no suspects. I know I'm in the minority, but I really did not like this book. My rating: 1.5 Stars.
