This is one of the few times I'd say the sequel is better! The first book is good, but I loved how this book followed up the falling-in-love-for-the-first-time with the realistic stage of a relationship where the rubber hits the road and you struggle to figure out communication, intimacy, and being true to yourself and each other.

If you loved the first book and/or the Dash & Lily Netflix series and wondered where their journeys take them next, this is a must-read.

Also, Mrs. Basil E. remains iconic.
