Book Review of He Who Whispers

Typical of the outlandishly convoluted plots that Carr churned out, this relies too heavily on a few hard-to-believe coincidences to make the whole thing work. Too long and drawn out and although the solution is sort of clever, it took too long to unravel. (And did English people call each other "old boy," or something similar that much?)

Note: the introduction by Martin Edwards almost makes reading the book superfluous since he outlines the plot in too much detail.
