I read it all the way through and found it well written, but dreary. When it was done, I thought it was a story better suited for the teen genre with the character development mostly focused on the 12 yr old daughter and her father and the very young mother who regretted her decisions. Maybe I just like a happier ending, but to me the story was depressing.
