Move kinda slow, but if you like 'cozies' then this should work for you, except it is rather graphic.

Det. Deb Ralston of Ft. Worth receives a callfrom her son-in-law about an extra corspe located among the schools cadavers. A local genealogist, Marvin Tutwiler is reported missing, then Deb's close friend, a writer and researcher for the genealogist is kidnapped, Deb suspects something sinister is afoot. As she investigates this bizarre case, she finds herself dealing with an organization that reaches deep into the past of the American South, and with issues so explosive they lead to murder.
