Both students at the University of California Berkeley Campus in 1986, Peter Aaron Kelly and Lily Madison found themselves in need of tuition money and chose a sperm bank and egg donor bank as their solution.

A chance meeting between the two outside the donor facilities and another 19 years later at an airport on their way to a class reunion led to their development of a romantic relationship.

Both single, wealthy and guilt ridden over the possibility that they were the source for children they would never know, they were in route to California. Shocked by Josh Baer, a young mirror image of Pete, at the airport on the television news, suspected of murdering his class mates, Pete is on a mission to find the boy.

Pete, now the multibillionaire owner of PAK industries and Lily Madison, the multimillionaire owner of Sandcastle, Ltd. utilized their assets to get to the bottom of the murder story and Josh Baer.

The story intensifies when Pete and Lily realize that their offspring were not given up for adoption. Rather, they were used as human guinea pigs for a pharmaceutical business that would stop at nothing to protect their identity and assets.

Mr. and Miss Anonymous is an action packed adventure, murder mystery and love story that is both a simple yet riveting read. I could not put the book down and look forward to reading another of Fern Michaels' books.

Through reviews I have found that the author's fans either love or hate this book. Some say this is their least favorite book by this author. That being the case, I can't wait to read the best because I found this to be a fun read and loved it. That said if you are a newcomer to this author, you might want to read this book first. If you are an avid fan, this story may not be your favorite Fern Michaels novel.
