Meissner is fast becoming one of my favorite Christian fiction writers. She has a gift for writing with compassion and warmth, never becoming 'preachy' or sounding superior. This story is told from the perspective of Claire and her daughter Kate. It is a story of personal sacrifice, healing hearts and redemption. This is a novel that has stayed with me.
