Wrongly accused of his father's murder, Valerian and his brother Phelan run away. Valerian dons women's clothes and passes as Phelan's wife. They meet a "young lad" running from a determined villian. Good story, but not as good as her historicals"The Rose at Midnight"(my personal favorite) and "To Love a Dark Lord".
