3.8 stars Good and unusual story about revenge, power, forgiveness, and psychic vision. An unusual twist at the end explains certain passages of the story which were only hinted at earlier. This was no easy 'love-at-first-sight' here, but rather love grew out of the brutal consequences of certain individuals' actions. Disappointingly, the endings for some of the secondary characters went unexplained. Good enough read to want to follow up with the second and third in the series.
