This book is about "the cycle of life, a constant struggle to survive between predators and prey." Large color illustrations show octopuses of different kinds hiding in plain sight or finding their supper. The text is good for an interested third grader.
The bibliography lists two chosen websites, two videos, and two books. At the end of the book there are four points under 'Looking Back' for better learning. Example: "Look back at the octopus in its den on page 5. What makes that tight space a good resting place?"
Glossary, index. But no wishes, so I will put it back on the 'free' booktruck at this branch library for someone else to have....
