I had really been looking forward to what I considered the pivotal story in this series but I was left disappointed. I guess the H's incredibly harsh stance towards the h the whole way through just got to me in the end. This book was hard and unrelenting and the author didn't really get the romance across. Obviously we got our hea but it was a little too late for me. I would have liked to have seen a bit of softening in the H earlier on.

The second book was way better!
