Now the mystery that's always been beneath the action begins to bubble to the surface. Who was Banya before he was a delivery man? Someone in this volume remembers him. And they certainly don't seem to be fond memories. But before we get to that point, there are more monsters, monks, and knights and we're introduced to people with the mystical ability to summon powerful earth spirits. Kong, the youngest of the delivery men, has made up his mind to protect one of these special people, but he's in way over his head. Wonderful stuff, here. The complexity comes up a notch without ruining the action or humor. That's a rarity and makes this one a great read.
