This book is part of the one of the best series I think I've ever read. The plot is continually moving, and there are always great surprises. It is very well written; I couldn't help but think of Logan and Allison as real people. Anyone who enjoys history, family, and a compelling plot needs to read the six books in this series, from the Stonewycke Trilogy to the Stonewycke Legacy. They are wonderful.
