Lucas Davenport is stumped by a series of brutal murders in the Minneapolis area. The serial killer is ruthless but very cunning. The killer never gets in a hurry thus does not make mistakes and leave evidence. This serial killer's desire to kill begins to become greater with each victim and only Lucas can figure out the motive and plot the right strategy to bring this to an end.
