This was actually my favorite Cassie Palmer novel. It was very action-packed and some of the scenes were straight out of a few movies I have seen (in a humorous way). It was fun and fast. I laughed out loud a few times and couldn't wait to see what crazy thing would happen next.

Although you don't really have to read the other books first since Chance did include some background here, it is so much better if you do. I would highly advice you do before attempting this one. I think the relationships she has with the characters would be lost without it.

Chance is a very detailed writer which might be a minus for some people. Cassie also isn't your typical hero. It does seem like luck saves her more than skill. She also can't fight or defend herself well but she is by no means weak. All that being said she is not your typical hero. I know the covers of the book make her seem like she can kick some butt but she can barely shoot a gun. She is a survival though.

I'm a huge Pritkin fan and there were some incredibly sexy scenes with him. Pant! Pant! The end is left open so I will longingly wait for the next installment.

Great read if you like lots of action. It was pretty much non-stop.
