Wow! I don't see how Fforde retains the freshness, imagination, creativeness and sheer lunacy of his Thursday Next tales book after book. Filled with allusions, literary and otherwise, puns, and all the language tricks you are likely to think of and some you aren't, at least until you have reread his books a couple of times.
