I have always looked forward to Jayne Ann Krentz's novels andthis one is no exception. It may not have been her best (like GrandPassion) but I still enjoyed it a lot. Garrett Coltrane is JAK's typical hero, a very male person with a chip on his shoulder. He needed to marry Katy Randall to polish up his business image, whereas Katy married him because she loved him. However, Katy had cold feet on the night of the wedding, and suffice to say, both Katy and Garrett had to undergo a period of really getting to know one another. Of course, in the true JAK tradition, there is a mystery to be solved in the process..... An enjoyable read for a free weekend when nobody interrupts me.
