The story had many twists and turns, and kept me guessing all the way through.
The father advertises for a wife. The woman who answers has her own agenda. She is at best a liar. All prospects look dark, except the father's regret, which leads him to seek forgiveness.
This was a different kind of book for me to read, which I always welcome. I was intrigued by how the story ended.
