My teen son got me to read this book- the first chapter alone was worth the whole book-
and then I set it down. He continued to bug, I mean suggest that I finish it, and until I realized this was BRISCO COUNTY JUNIOR! writing the book, I thought it was pretty good. Really, pretty good. Sometimes Bruce goes off on a side trip with his writing, but the stories are hilarious. I see my son has ordered the second book written by Bruce- I wonder if I'll get to read that one, too?
