A sequel to A Dirty Job, this book finds Charlie trapped in a body that Audrey made from ham and spare animal parts. Lily works in a suicide hotline, Minty is still selling records, and Sophie is being raised by her aunt. I was hoping this book would be more about Sophie growing into her powers, but it's pretty much the same plotline as A Dirty Job - souls are getting eaten by the Dark Powers who are plotting a big breakout. Although most of the Death Eaters get to plot together this time. It's still very funny, and the characters are great, but not much new ground gets covered.
