Book Review of The Various Flavours of Coffee

The Various Flavours of Coffee

Helpful Score: 1

The text centres on the 19th century coffee trade, with the the title referring to the box the protagonist created to identify the various tastes and smells of coffee. Based on some rough facts, the coffee trade was revolutionised by this box and the ability of traders to mix various types of coffee to form a common blend.

It is a wonderfully written book that involves romantic interests along with worldwide travel to distant coffee plantations. One learns amazing things about the coffee trade with a small cast of engaging characters.

One wants to read page after page just as a nice coffee invites sip after sip.
