This, original gripping story of an alien-invasion force determined to take over Earth and make humans its slaves was written by H. G. Wells at the turn of the 20th century. The "War of the Worlds" is a tale of Martians coming to Earth to look for food after using up their own resources. Written both as a horror story and a morality tale against British imperialism. The story is as shocking today as when written. Listeners are sure to be caught up in this science fiction suspense story of Earth versus Mars. (from case).
