A wonderful story. It starts with the female being widowed. Just days later she's convinced to marry again bc of the tough times and land. I found it very believable, her reluctance to let any man into her life and heart, esp while she's grieving a husband she loved.
The love story between them was beautiful. Daniel was a grand hero.
Also recommend the story that follows, Rocky Mountain Man.
