I love all Victoria Holt books. I own most all of them in hardcover. When I want a comfort read on a rainy day I always re-visit one of her novels. This one is a favorite. On the first reading of her books I always stayed up way too late - just couldn't put them down. Like all of her books this one is multi-layered with lots of twists and turns. Ms. Holt has a beautiful way of writing.
