My 3 year old really likes this book. The main text is very short; much shorter than other truck books we have. However, there are information pages before and after the story that offer tidbits about each truck the main story mentions. This is great. I would've guessed that my son would only want the information sections read but he likes it all.
This book is a great addition to a truck book collection because it has nice illustrations, a short story, and some additional reading material if you want it to last a little longer. (Because of the length it is a nice contrast to many of the other truck books.)
