While the premise of the book is a lesbian love story, I can honestly say that it isn't completely appalling and disgusting. Written with tact and intensity it combines a steamy romance with a wonderful plot of a love story. The fact that it's a lesbian relationship really isn't a huge issue once you delve into the book. I loved it. I loved the style of writing and I loved the story line. So I personally can say I would recommend it to even the straightest of people because I myself enjoyed it thoroughly!
