I have got to say, this is one of my favorite Love Inspired novels!! Often with the smaller books they aren't as well written or they end up being a bit corny, but this one is one of the best I have ever read. Not only is is interesting but there is some mystery involved and a lot of sweet romance:)

Emma is the new nanny for little Alice. Her employer, Sir Nicholas, is a wealthy man but he is never around for his daughter. Instead Nicholas seems to live in the lab outside intent on blowing himself up or some such nonsense. What most people don't realize is that Emma knows a lot about science herself and could help him with his experiments. But instead she starts a courting campaign to get Nicholas interested in his daughter so he can see what he is missing.

One of my favorite parts is when Emma ends up on the roof after her kite dies at the hands of the chimney. Of course Nicholas has to come to the rescue and build her another one. I also enjoyed how scientific he is in looking at everything as facts. It is quite funny how he views things:)

Again, the characters were really well written and I felt like they were realistic. Some humor is injected and there is a sweet feel to the romance. It isn't hurried or rushed but they slowly get to know each other. And Alice is such a sweetheart! I am soo looking forward to the next book in the Master Matchmakers series! This is definitely a 5 star book in my opinion.

I was sent a copy of this book for my review purposes. All thoughts are 100% mine.
