This book is as much an autobiography of the author as it is the story of her mother, a hoarder. The mother was physically and emotionally abused as a child, and in turn abused her daughter as well. She continues to emotionally abuse her even in adulthood. Understandably, the author is full of frustration and resentment, yet her concern and love for her mother is palpable. Very interesting read! D.
