Sophie Lang once loved Ettore Severini, but when she's falsely accused of stealing, Ettore not only believes her to be guilty, he also has her barred from working in her profession. When fate reunites them more than a year later, and Ettore learns that Sophie has had his child, he is quick to move her to Italy, where he can see his child. Once he has Sophie and their child under his roof, he learns that his feelings are still there.
