I liked the strong female lead and the small town setting. The rich hotel owning hero had a great old world charm and enjoyed taking care of Melissa in small ways like opening doors, helping with her coat, and feeding her. The moments of excitement were well done. The in between parts were repeptitive with a rehash of her concerns about her job and his concerns about opening his heart again after agonizing loss. The immediate villain was caught but questions remain for future books in the series.
