This is a picture book that can be read aloud. It can also be used as an easy reader and the publisher states the reading ability level is grade 1, level 2. A cute fictional story about a cat. Illustrations are hand drawn and cartoon like about a cat (Jasper) who acts like a human and tries to grow a beanstalk like Jack did, after Jasper the cat read that book.
