Romance runs amok in London's latest contemporary (after Three Kisses), a lengthy drama set on a Montana ranch owned by the Kodiak family. When Hogan Kodiak's half-sister, Carley, is threatened by a stalker, her longtime friend Jemma Delaney stages a fake illness to keep Carley on the ranch until the stalker surfaces. Jemma has been a burr in Hogan's saddle since childhood, but Hogan is willing to go along with Jemma's scheme in order to save his sister. Once the two look beyond each other's shortcomings and decide to work together, Hogan warms to Jemma.
