Book Review of Allegiant (Divergent, Bk 3)

Allegiant (Divergent, Bk 3)

This was such a great story story, up until this final book.

There are so many ways this series could have ended better. It seems like a cop out to me. It feels like the author was tired of writing and just wanted it over and done with.

I rather enjoyed the POV change in this book. It felt like we got a better, deeper understanding of Four/Tobias. That's about the only thing I liked about this book.

The explanation of the divergent (DNA experimenting, the GP and GD) reads like a bad sci-fi novel. This wouldn't be complete without a corrupt government that needs to be saved from itself.

The ending is rushed and generic. Frankly, it made the entire series a waste of time.
