This was a beautifully written, light-hearted book about a woman who moves from New York to China, to live with a sister she now barely knows. The main character struggles with deciding how American and how Chinese she is. Beautiful insight into Chinese food (I never knew so many different cuisines existed in China) and life in Beijing. During the book the main character gains confidence in herself and there is romance thrown in. Not a deep serious book, but very enjoyable.
