interesting story of a true pioneer - i had never heard of her before reading this book - if you are looking for the behind the scences story of the newsroom this is not it - there are a few stories but mostly its the authors story of his mom's parenting while being a working mom to 5 kids - but it does cover her life of how she got to washington dc and thru to her death - but i do wish there had been more of her newsroom stories
