Mark Haddon's "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time", is a beautifully insightful and sensitively revealing account of the dis-ordered mind. Written from the perspective of a 15 year old boy suffering from Aspergers syndrome, Haddon turns the tables on the way Autism and Aspergers is so often viewed by society. In the process he gently illuminates the perversity of modern culture and its social etiquette. At its core, 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' is a heart-wrenching yet contemporary coming of age novel that everyone should read.
