Interior designers Erin Gilbert and Steve Sullivan, once rivals, have now become business partners. However, their current client, for whom they are designing a feng shui house remodel, is a temperamental artist that is becoming a nightmare for them, as she engages in a feng shui war with her neighbor. To top it all off, Erin discovers that her ex-con half-brother has unbeknownst to them been hired as a foreman by their contractor, and has confided to her that he suspects something funny is going on. When Erin finds him dead in her client's house she is determined to prove it was no accident but murder. Erin realizes she must be on to something when she herself becomes a target. A fairly good cozy mystery, this piqued my interest but did not really grab me; however, when I'm in the mood I may give the series a second chance with another book.
